Impact on Germany:The treaty had led Germany devastated economically and politically. Because of the treaty, Germans were in search for a leader that would bring them out of this great depression (which they blamed on the huge amount of money that they had to pay to the Allies) and gain power. They found this leader in, Adolf Hitler. Hitler had believed that Germany had given up to easily against the allies and still had a chance to win against them because they haven't fought on German land. He turned some German's against the their own government ad made them think that they had no obligation to follow the treaty, this group became the Nazi's. . Leaders like Hitler saw this treaty as something that weakened the great empire he was striving for. This is what caused the beginning of the Second World War.
Impact on Allies:
The treaty failed to bring stability and peace for which the Allied forces hoped for.Within a year of the Peace Conference, the alliance which had defeated Germany and compromise on a set of peace term had collapsed. The negotiations at the peace conference uncovered the divisions between the triumphant powers and opened the rift. The German's (known as the Nazi's) were thought that there was no way that they would follow the treaty. They declared war on Europe when they invaded Poland on September 1st, 1939. This sparked the Allies to fight once again, in an even bloodier war then the first world war, against the Germans (world War II and the Holocaust - killing of Jews in concentration camps, by Germans)
